Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

The last aerimander is missing.

Hatching and hiding baby Rubi got Eva Alexander locked up, gave Myrnie Wilshins a bad reputation, and left Dusty St. Ichabod a fugitive. And now that Rubi’s gone, the three friends will have to use all their smarts to find a way back to each other, if they’re to have any chance of making it to the Northern Isles and saving the last aerimander.

But with threats at every turn, and power-mad Eoin Parnassus’s sinister plan revealing itself, reaching the Northern Isles might just be the least of their problems …

When hidden societies emerge and secrets spill forth, who can Eva, Myrnie and Dusty really trust? And how far will people go to protect those who need it most?

The thrilling sequel to New York Times–bestseller The Last Ember, The First Flame is a high-stakes adventure filled with humour and heart, danger and dark deeds, and bonds forged by friendship and by flame.
