About the Author

Terry was awarded a teaching scholarship in 1059 while matriculating at High School. He began his teaching career at Pt. Augusta High School where he taught woodwork and metalwork to primary, secondary and adult students. Terry continued teaching technical studies at high school and in 1973 was offered a lectureship at the University of SA. He was committed to the professional development of trainee teachers of Technical and Technology Studies. Terry continues to maintain his enthusiasm for woodwork, in a comprehensive workshop. Brian, now retired continues to pursue his interest in woodwork, undertaking various woodworking and building projects for family and friends. Also, he has recently restored three classic motor vehicles, which reflect his skill and dedication to high standards of craftsmanship.
