About the Author
Tim Glynne-Jones is a freelance writer and editor working in books, magazines and copywriting. He is a former editor for BBC Magazines, Raffles Hotels, and Taj Hotels, and has written extensively on travel for titles such as Conde Nast Traveller. His interest in American history and geography was kindled by the films of Clint Eastwood and an assignment to write about the wines of California. His books include The Book of Numbers, The Book of Words, The Daredevil Book for Golfers, Born in the 30s/40s/50s/60s/70s and A Game of Two Halves: Football Yesterday and Today.
