About the Author

Mike Flynn is a science and mathematics expert who has worked as a freelance writer for the British Science Museum. He has published widely in the fields of science, technology, and mathematics and was also a consultant on the Illustrated Oxford English Dictionary. He currently serves as technical editor of Science Museum Group Journal, a biannual online publication presenting peer-reviewed papers for the international science museum and global research community.

Mark Frary studied astronomy and physics at University College London before studying nuclear physics at the CERN laboratory in Geneva, Switzerland. He writes about advances in technology, space exploration, and codebreaking. His work has been published by The Times, Reuters and Random House.
