Sari Sisters
A joyful picture book that celebrates clothing, cultural traditions and sibling love.
Ruhi is ready to start her weekend tradition: dancing with her older sister, Kayra! Everything is ready to go - the music, the lights, the glitterballs - but where is Kayra?
It turns out that Kayra is too busy preparing for her big day - she's wearing a sari for the very first time! While the family all fiddle and fuss over Kayra's sari, poor Ruhi starts feeling left out and doesn't want to wait until she's old enough to wear one, too...
Will Ruhi and her cousins find a savvy sari solution so they can join in the fun and festivities as well?
A heartwarming and funny story that celebrates sisterly love, dressing-up and dancing away, from Anitha Rao-Robinson and Anoosha Syed. The perfect Diwali gift for little ones!
