Description
This timeless picture book by Pat Hutchins is now over forty years old and still a firm favourite.
Rosie's Walk around the farmyard, pursued by the hungry but clumsy fox, has become a beacon in the world of children's picture books, an ever-popular classic which generations have enjoyed. Children love the humour of this near-wordless story. One disaster after another befalls the poor fox while Rosie goes on her way, supremely unaware of the danger behind her.
Now at a wonderful larger size, this re-issue will bring the joy of Rosie's tale and Pat's bold artwork to a new generation of fans.
Book Hero Magic summarised reviews for this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! HOW HAS THIS BEEN REVIEWED?
Rosie's Walk by Pat Hutchins is praised for its clever storytelling that allows children to interpret meanings through both words and illustrations. The book's bold graphics remain timelessly engaging and humorous for young readers, while the illustrations convey an exciting, action-filled narrative of a hen's adventure. These qualities have elevated it to classic status, making it an enduring favourite among children and parents alike.
