Rick Riordan Presents: Serwa Boateng's Guide to Saving the World
"Twelve-year-old half-vampire, half-Slayer Serwa and her friends journey across the United States to end the ancient magical conflict between her two worlds"--
Rick Riordan Presents: Serwa Boateng's Guide to Saving the World is the thrilling conclusion to Roseanne A. Brown's middle grade trilogy, introduced by best-selling author Rick Riordan. This story follows a pre-teen girl who, as half-Slayer and half-vampire, is caught between two worlds.
Serwa Boateng has faced vampires, witches, and even a death god. But with the fate of the magical world at stake, she now confronts her toughest foe yet: her own grandmother.
Finally free after decades trapped inside the Midnight Drum, the feared obayifo Nana Bekoe aims to destroy the Abomofuo. Even worse, she has enchanted Serwa's father. Now, the hunters have become the hunted, as the Slayers' defences crumble in the face of an enemy who knows all their secrets.
Serwa's only chance of saving her father might lie with the Keepers, an organisation whose powers defy the usual magical rules. Yet, the Keepers are even more secretive than the Abomofuo, and tracking them down will require a journey across the United States. At least her friends accompany her on this quest... albeit friends who currently dislike her intensely. The survival of everyone and everything Serwa loves hinges on her success in this final hunt without losing herself.
Serwa Boateng has been a Slayer and a vampire. Now, she must become something else entirely: a hero.
This book is endorsed by Rick Riordan, author of the Disney+ hit series Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
