A traditional Aboriginal fire myth retold simply for younger readers.
Rainbow Bird by Eric Maddern tells the story of how fire came to be. "I'm boss for Fire," growls rough, tough Crocodile Man, as he keeps the rest of the world cold and dark.
One day, clever Bird Woman sees her opportunity and seizes it, changing the world forever. This traditional Aboriginal fire myth from Northern Australia is simply retold and brought to life through glowing illustrations.
Perfect for children and parents everywhere, Rainbow Bird will delight audiences with its enchanting narrative and vibrant artistry.
