About the Author
Uncommon Projects are a British design company who pioneered modern plywood kitchens, furniture and homewares of uncommon character and quality. They have been designing, manufacturing and installing kitchens and furniture for over a decade. Architect Alan Drumm and product designer James Hoy set up the Uncommon Projects studio in London with a wealth of experience in interior architecture, design and manufacture. They share a mutual affection for the early modernist aesthetic, and an appreciation of the material possibilities of plywood.
