Pip and Posy are friends (most of the time!) in this series about the dramas of toddler life created by Axel Scheffler, whose books, including the modern classic, The Gruffalo - which has sold more than two million copies world-wide - have been translated into 29 languages. This is a board book edition.
A gorgeous litlte cased board book edition of this perfectly-pitched series about the dramas of pre-school life.
Pip and Posy: The Little Puddle introduces us to Pip and Posy, two typical toddlers who are best friends and love to have fun together. However, like any other toddler, they occasionally experience feelings of being cross and sad. It's during these times that friendship, sharing, understanding, and a cuddle can make everything better.
In this book, Pip visits Posy's house to play. After enjoying a delightful mid-afternoon snack and drink, Pip is having such a lovely time that he forgets he needs to go to the loo, resulting in a little puddle on the floor. But accidents happen to everyone, and Posy warmly mops it up and lends him some clothes.
Later, when Pip feels the need again, he proudly manages to use the potty all by himself. This charming story highlights the importance of friendship and understanding through the everyday experiences of toddlers.

About the Author
Axel was born in Hamburg, Germany. At school he was good at art, but didn't think of a career in illustration until he won a cuddly purple cow in a drawing competition. He moved to England in 1982 to learn English and study illustration at the Bath Academy of Art and then set up home in London. Axel illustrated a number of books for various publishers, and in 1993 Kate suggested him as the illustrator for Julia Donaldson's first picture book text, A Squash and a Squeeze. This was the start of a hugely successful partnership. Axel has illustrated a number of other highly successful books, including Muddle Farm, and his books have been translated into 42 languages. Axel lives in London with his partner and young daughter.
