In this deeply personal, illustrated volume, the highly influential, trend-setting New York-based contemporary jewellery designer Pamela Love invites us into her universe, revealing her creative process by sharing the obsessions and inspirations behind her cult brand.
Pamela Love began making jewellery in 2007 in a closet-sized shared studio space in New York City's garment district. She quickly gained notoriety by winning a CFDA award, and her collection was soon stocked by the chicest boutiques around the world. Love's creations are deeply spiritual and intuitive. She is heavily influenced by astronomy, astrology, alchemy, botany, the American Southwest, and the architecture of her own home, New York.
In this personally curated monograph, Pamela Love: Muses and Manifestations juxtaposes photographs of her jewellery with snapshots from her travels that inspire her collections. It includes images of her handmade inspiration board collages, which show her creative process, as well as details of the diorama-like installations of objects and ephemera in her lavishly decorated home—which is a work of art in itself.

About the Author
Native New Yorker Pamela Love began making jewelry in her Brooklyn apartment in 2007. Since then, she has created a full production facility and design studio in Manhattan's garment district. The line is committed to sustainability and localized production. All gemstones and semiprecious stones are ethically sourced and almost all metal used is recycled. The entire jewelry-making process, from design to sampling to full-scale production, is completed domestically with the majority of it done in-house at Love's Manhattan studio. Love has collaborated with a wide range of acclaimed and emerging artists, designers and retail brands, including: Creatures of the Wind, Monique Lhuillier, Zadig and Voltaire, Nine West, Zac Posen, Suno, J Crew, Topshop, Rogan, Opening Ceremony (with director Spike Jonze).
