About the Author

Mari Ono is an expert in origami and all forms of papercrafts. She and her artist husband, Takumasa, were based in the UK for many years and worked there to promote Japanese arts and crafts, but have now returned to Japan where she was born. Mari is the author of several books, including Origami for Children and Origami Garden, as well as paper blocks such as Japanese Origami, Origami Sea Animals and Origami Butterflies, Birds, and BeesΒ (all CICO Books). Mari also blogs on her Japanese website, mari-ono.com.
