About the Author
Vivian French: Vivian French is married and lives in Bristol. She has four daughters and a lot of pets! Vivian worked in children's theatre for ten years as both an actor and writer and has been telling stories for over fifteen years in schools, community centres and theatres. Her first three books were published in 1990, and since then she has written more than seventy books. Oliver's Vegetables was shortlisted for the Victoria and Albert Illustrators award., Alison Bartlett: Alison studied illustration at Anglia College of Art in Cambridge and began an M.A. At Kingston University. In 1993 she was shortlisted for the Macmillan Prize for Oliver's Vegetables. She lives in Bristol with her young son. .
