This is the OCR-endorsed edition covering the Classical Greek GCSE set text prescriptions examined from 2027 to 2028.

Sections VI (How Arion was Saved by a Dolphin), VII (Story of Euenius) and X (Respect for Suppliants enforced by an oracle).

Lysias:
On the Murder of Eratosthenes 6–14 and 15–27.

Homer:
Odyssey, Book 10, lines 203–245, 302–347 and 371–399.

Euripides:
Trojan Women, lines 654–678 and 686–779.

The volume starts with an introduction to ancient Greek history and culture, which sets in context the passages for the exams and gives guidance on how to translate ancient Greek. The prescribed texts are set out in clear passages facing commentary notes, with further information on GCSE vocabulary and key terms as well as study questions.
