Your backyards and gardens are fabulous universes where many little animals and insects live. This book explores which creatures and critters may be found in common outdoor spaces. It encourages children, ages 4 to 8, to create shelters where animals can visit, collect seeds to feed their guests, and respect the boundaries of the wildlife that may stop by. They will look differently at earthworms, be fascinated by squirrels, and be amazed by butterflies!

About the Author
After training as a biographer and landscaper,Benedicte Boudassou devoted herself to journalism and writing books on gardening. She has collaborated for many years with various consumer magazines and has published numerous gardening and nature titles for adults and children.
Charlene Tong is an artist who worked as an illustrator for children books and designer of sceneries for cartoons. Her hobbies are rather simple: reading, knitting, hiking, traveling, and gardening. Plants are for her an inexhaustible source of inspiration so, after ten years dedicated to an artistic career, she moved into a new inspiring career in horticulture.
