My Ex and Other Monsters explores the story of Indie Reynolds, who has given up on romance and perfected the art of being cool, calm and uninterested. When a casual family curse means that everyone you fall in love with turns into a literal monster, shutting down that part of your brain becomes kind of a necessity.
