Description

Mirabelle and the Picnic Pranks is a captivating tale that continues the delightful adventures of Mirabelle, a young girl who is special because she is different. Her mum is a witch and her dad is a fairy, and she absolutely loves getting up to magical mischief.

During her parents' picnic party in the garden, Mirabelle sees the perfect opportunity to play some pranks on her annoying brother, Wilbur. However, when she is caught putting frogspawn into Wilbur's drink, she is sent inside. It's so unfair! Why should she have to miss the party?

Then a brilliant idea strikes: if she uses a shrinking potion on herself, she'll be too tiny for anyone to see, allowing her to still enjoy the party! But Mirabelle is about to discover that a garden feels a little more dangerous when you're no taller than a blade of grass. Have her mischievous ways gone too far this time?

About the Author

Harriet Muncaster is one of the fastest-rising stars in children's books. She started out writing and illustrating picture books, and won the Blue Hen Book Award for her first book, I Am a Witch's Cat, and was highly commended for the Macmillan Prize while studying for her second illustration degree.
