Twelve-year-old Tyler Gooden’s only goal is to make it to the Speed Cubing National Championships in Las Vegas and finally silence his critics by coming home a winner. But just getting there is half the battle. And even when he finally gets there, there are even greater challenges ahead.

To win, Tyler has to outdo hundreds of speed cubers from around the country. From a nine-year-old ‘cubing prodigy’ to the two-time national champion who’s never lost in his life, the competition is more intense than anything Tyler has experienced.
