Lion City
The extraordinary story of Singapore told by the expert correspondent for the Financial Times
Book Hero Magic summarised reviews for this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! HOW HAS THIS BEEN REVIEWED?
Lion City by Jeevan Vasagar offers an unexpectedly moving narrative that introduces readers to Singapore, while delving into themes of love, grief, deceit, and identity. It provides a comprehensive and detailed examination of the city-state's transformation into a model of authority and order, as initiated by Lee Kuan Yew. The book is regarded as both enlightening and a fair analysis of Singapore's evolution.
