About the Author

Katrina Germein is a best-selling children's author. Her much-loved titles have been published around the world and include Before You Were Born and My Dad Thinks He's Funny, which was Highly Commended in the Prime Minister's Literary Awards. Katrina recently released her first non-fiction picture book Wonderful Wasps as well as her first sing-along story One Little Duck. She is the winner of a Speech Pathology Book of the Year Award and a Crystal Kite Award.

Danny Snell grew up in Adelaide, trained at the Central School of Art and the University of South Australia and graduated with a Bachelor of Design (Illustration). His first major picture book Whose Tail Is That? was published in 1999 and was shortlisted for the CBCA Award for first-time children's book illustrators. His second book Bilby Moon was nominated as a Notable Book in 2001 and shortlisted for the 2001 Kids Own Australian Literature Award (KOALA). His most recent book One Little Duck was published in 2023 by HarperCollins.
