Juno Jones, Mystery Writer
A disaster has happened! Again. Muttonbird Bay Primary is once again under threat of closure, and Juno Jones is pretty sure the Alien Lizard Men are involved. But that's not all… Shy Vi is missing, Miss Tippett is acting VERY strangely, and everyone keeps turning to Juno Jones to solve the mysteries. Even Perfect Paloma wants Juno's help...
If Juno Jones, Word Ninja, is to solve these cases, she will need to become a Mystery Writer!
Complete with Juno's signature wit, drawings, and ninja attitude, Juno Jones, Mystery Writer continues Tasmanian author Kate Gordon's first junior fiction series. The Juno Jones series is great for reluctant and avid readers alike.

About the Author
Kate Gordon grew up in a very bookish house, with two librarian parents, in a small town by the sea in Tasmania. In 2009 she won a Varuna fellowship and hasn’t stopped writing since. Her first book, Three Things About Daisy Blue, was published by Allen and Unwin in 2010. She has since been published multiple times by everyone from Yellow Brick Books through to Random House Australia. Kate won the 2016 IBBY Ena Noel Award for Writing Clementine, and in 2018 was shortlisted in the Dorothy Hewett Awards for an Unpublished Manuscript. Her YA novel Girl Running, Boy Falling (2018) is a CBCA Notable. In 2021, Aster’s Good, Right Things (published by Riveted Press) won the CBCA Book of the Year for Younger Readers, and in 2023, Xavier in the Meantime was shortlisted in the same category. Sandy Flett is an illustrator and cartoonist who lives in the beautiful countryside of New England, NSW. She creates her hilariously kooky characters, pictures and stories in her art studio while listening to sheep baa and cows moo very loudly outside her window. Sandy is the illustrator of the junior fiction series Juno Jones, Word Ninja by Kate Gordon, and is also the creator and presenter of her very own YouTube Channel Kids Art School, which is loved by kids across the world. BrilliANT is her first picture book.
