About the Author
Imogen Corrigan (BA, MPhil, FRHistS, FRSA) is a specialist in Anglo-Saxon and medieval history. After spending over 19 years in the army, she retired in the rank of major at the end of 1994. Subsequently she went to the University of Kent to study Anglo-Saxon and medieval history, graduating with first class honours, and later gained an MPhil from the University of Birmingham. She is an accredited Arts Society speaker who works as a freelance lecturer and runs study tours for specialist travel companies. Corrigan's first book was published in 2019 (Stone on Stone: The Men Who Built the Cathedrals, The Crowood Press). She has the Freedom of the City of London being a Freeman of the Company of Communicators.
