See moreInside Tropical Homes explores the evolution of tropical residential architecture from region-specific designs to a global source of inspiration for contemporary residential design. This architectural style is characterized by the use of natural materials and open floor plans, creating spaces that provide shelter from the sun and rain while ensuring comfort.
This volume showcases the most innovative projects in tropical residential architecture from recent years. Whether it's a romantic beach house, an elegant loft apartment, a rustic jungle dwelling, or an exclusive pool villa, each featured home is a unique treasure. These dwellings are designed by both renowned architects and innovative newcomers.
The projects demonstrate how lush greenery can seamlessly integrate with the home, how light fabrics can create a flexible and soft room enclosure, and how sunlight can illuminate transparent spaces, enhanced by carefully selected colours and materials. A central theme is the dialogue between inside and outside, where the house and surrounding nature are integral to the design concepts.
