A funny story about a seemingly impossible child and his desperate parents, who enlist the help of a specialist with unexpected results...
Toribio is two years old and his parents love him very much, but some days, taking care of him feels like an impossible task. He won't sleep, makes a fuss when eating, splashes his bath water everywhere, and refuses to use his potty. At the end of the day, Toribio's parents are exhausted. So when they see an ad for a specialist who can solve any type of problem, his desperate parents make an appointment right away. Mrs. Meridien's methods deliver overnight results, but her solution isn't quite what they had in mind...

About the Author
ISOL is an Argentine author and illustrator of childrenβs books with a passion for comic book artistry, literature and the visual arts. She has been honored with the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award for her outstanding contribution to childrenβs literature, has twice been selected as a finalist for the Hans Christian Andersen Award and has won a Golden Apple at the Biennial of Illustration, Bratislava. Isol has also written and illustrated The Menino; Petit, the Monster; Beautiful Griselda and Nocturne. To date, her books have been published in over twenty countries and in seventeen languages. Isol lives in Buenos Aires. ELISA AMADO is a Guatemalan-born author and translator. She has written My Friend (Mi amiga), illustrated by Alfonso Ruano; Un Barrilete para el DΓa de los Muertos / Barrilete: A Kite for the Day of the Dead; Cousins (Primas), illustrated by Luis Garay; and Tricycle (El triciclo), illustrated by Alfonso Ruano, which is on the AmΓ©ricas Award Commended List and is a USBBY Outstanding International Book. She lives in Toronto.
