She played high school and college hockey before an injury forced her to hang up her skates for a few years. These days, you can find her on the ice either coaching youth hockey or playing a game of shinny in the backyard with her three kids. She is the author of four other books, includingHockey Talk: Sauce, Spinorama, and More Ice-Time Lingo, a book for die-hard hockey fans.
