Ray Tabor worked for over 20 years in a woodland nature reserve, producing and selling traditional products as well as writing books. His woodworking books are still the best resource for any traditional woodland crafter.. He chaired the conservation activities of the UK's largest Wildlife Trust, lead courses in woodland crafts and management and wrote regularly on crafts, tools and woodland conservation.
