Everyone knows that horses fart. Donkeys definitely fart. But royal unicorns?
Glitterbutt the Farting Unicorn introduces Glitterbelle, a new recruit to the princess's royal team of unicorns. Expected to be regal, lovely, and perfect at all times, she's hiding an interesting secret—she is a frequent and fervent farter. Despite how brilliant and rainbow-y her toots may be, she worries they could one day cause a big stink in the royal court. Glitterbelle attempts to muffle the sound with layers of pants or hide the magnificent glitter cloud that follows, but even she knows that secrets, like farts, tend to squeak out.
When Glitterbelle's worst fear materialises on Unicorn Training Day, her glorious glittering rainbow farts leave the royal family blushing with embarrassment and her fellow unicorns laughing in scorn. Consequently, she is cast out of the castle with the unfortunate nickname 'Glitterbutt.' With her dreams dashed, Glitterbelle must traverse forests and villages searching for acceptance, respect, and the confidence to embrace her true self.
This uplifting story about the struggle to fit in and the joy of finding true friends will have children laughing and learning simultaneously.
