Giraffe and Jackal express their feelings and resolve differences in a positive way, through the power of Nonviolent Communication.
Giraffe and Jackal Are Friends (Again!) introduces us to Giraffe and Jackal, best friends with contrasting personalities. Jackal is often grouchy and quick to snap, while Giraffe is calm and contemplative. When Aardvark, a new kid, arrives at school, Giraffe willingly extends a hand of friendship, but Jackal feels envious and insecure.
This jealousy leads Jackal to act out and put Aardvark in danger, resulting in a conflict. Through the use of Compassionate Communication techniques, Giraffe helps Jackal navigate his feelings constructively, paving the way for the three of them to become friends.
Based on the renowned Nonviolent Communication teachings of Dr. Marshall Rosenberg, this picture book provides children with easy-to-learn coping and communication skills. The story is enriched with vibrant illustrations and engaging characters, offering a playful yet insightful narrative.
