Fifteen-year-old Miaka Yuki is transported into an ancient Chinese kingdom by an old library book, The Universe of the Four Gods. As the Priestess of Suzaku, she must find her seven Celestial Warriors to save the kingdom and return home. In this collection of volumes 10 to 12, with one Celestial Warrior lost, Miaka and her allies race to obtain the Shentso-Paos to summon Suzaku. However, the Seiryu Warrior Nakago steals one, leading to a violent encounter that shakes Miaka’s resolve. Tamahome struggles under the power of illusions from another warrior, creating new challenges for the group.

About the Author

Yuu Watase debuted in the Shôjo Comic manga anthology in 1989. She won the 43rd Shogakukan Manga Award with Ceres: Celestial Legend. One of her most famous works is Fushigi Yûgi, a series that has inspired the prequel Fushigi Yûgi: Genbu Kaiden. In 2008, Arata: The Legend started serialization in Weekly Shonen Sunday.
