Just as Suzuno reunites with Karm and Kasal, the brothers she met on her first trip into The Universe of the Four Gods, the false priestess Ning-Lan unleashes a brutal attack that leaves Kasal mortally wounded. In the aftermath, Karm must come to terms with stepping into his newly awakened powers as a Celestial Warrior. But as the group begins their search for the other Celestial Warriors, something sinister awaits them out in the desert…
