Book Hero Magic crafted this summary to help describe this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Summary
Over nearly a decade, Florian Reinhardt has captured 1,024 images of exit signs from around the world using his iPhone. These deliberately neutral, repetitive photos transform ubiquitous, industrially-produced signs into a poignant reflection on the omnipresence of visual symbols in everyday life. Reinhardt's work channels Dadaist iconoclasm, offering a fresh perspective by viewing these objects through an inverted telescope and situating them within a personal narrative.

Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

Snaps of exit signs: over a period of almost 10 years, Florian Reinhardt has shot altogether 1024 exit signs from all over the world with his iPhone camera. These photos—deliberately affectless, depersonalized, repetitious—deliver, through transgression and appropriation, in a world overwhelmed with signs, a focused view on omnipresent and universal signifiers of daily life.

Reinhardt explores the possibilities of Dada's iconoclastic principle by displaying industrially manufactured objects from the view of an inverted telescope and by placing them in a personal narrative context.
