What does it feel like to find the city's edge, to explore its forgotten tunnels and scale unfinished skyscrapers high above the metropolis? Explore Everything reclaims the city, recasting it as a place for endless adventure.

Plotting expeditions from London, Paris, Berlin, Detroit, Chicago, Las Vegas and Los Angeles, Bradley L. Garrett has tested the boundaries of urban security in order to experience the city in ways beyond the everyday. He calls it "place hacking": the recoding of closed, secret, hidden and forgotten urban spaces to make them realms of opportunity.

The book is also a manifesto, combining philosophy, politics and adventure, on our rights to the city and how to understand the twenty-first-century metropolis.

Book Hero Magic summarised reviews for this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! HOW HAS THIS BEEN REVIEWED?

Explore Everything by Bradley L. Garrett is described as a volatile and extraordinary journey, likened to a gonzo road trip. The book receives admiration for its daring approach and Garrett's own adventurous spirit, notably writing parts from a crane vantage. It offers a high-energy report that encourages readers to see cities differently, challenging conventional views and encouraging exploration. The depiction of urban exploration blurs reality, invoking a thrilling, almost game-like experience of cityscapes. Underlying this physical exploration is a philosophical inquiry tied to psychogeography, woven together with intellectual references and dynamic photography.
