Sarah Johnson is an award-winning author based in Raglan. When she's not writing for children, she works as a freelance writer and editor of professional and technical texts. Sarah's writing for children and young adults has won several awards, including the Joy Cowley Award (Wooden Arms Scholastic NZ, 2012) and the Storylines Notable Book Awards for the Bold Ship Phenomenal and The Spaghetti Giraffe (Flat Bed Press, 2015 and 2016). Sarah writes for publishers in New Zealand and overseas. Deborah Hinde is an award winning illustrator based in rural Waikato. She has illustrated over 80 books; fiction and non-fiction with more than 40 of these picture books.
