This book is the perfect answer to the question What is Ecology, and why should I care?
Explore the basics of Ecology by following a wide variety of real-world examples about how living things cope in all sorts of environments. Learn how ecosystems work, explore how these complicated systems go wrong, and discover what we can do to protect our planet in the future.
An ideal book to explain to curious minds what ecology is all about, and what questions ecologists are trying to find answers to, from how to save dying species, to fixing ecosystems through rewilding.

About the Author
Ever since he read the Spy's Guidebook when he was eight, Andy has wanted to write books for Usborne. He's very happy that he got to fulfill his dream. As well as writing books and stories for Usborne, Andy has published several fantasy novels about demons and dark magic. He likes playing board games and making up imaginary worlds. Lan joined Usborne after working as a bookseller. She absolutely loves learning about anything and everything. She has lived in China, attempted to create the perfect aquarium biotope, studied Anglo- Saxon, Norse and Celtic at Cambridge University, and can hit an archery target from 100 feet away. Lan has always loved collecting knowledge and as many weird facts as possible, so working for Usborne really is a dream job!
