Diary of a Sea Lion
When you're a sea lion too scared to swim, you get a fair bit of teasing. So instead, the Wuss of the Waves makes up exciting stories of sealers, shipwrecks and castaways.
But when she finds herself in real danger, will she be brave enough to escape?
Diary of a Sea Lion by Sally Sutton takes readers on an adventurous journey of courage and self-discovery.

About the Author
Sally Sutton is the author of a number of popular children's books, including the award-winning picture book Roadworks with Brian Lovelock and its sequel Demolition, both published by Walker Books. Sally enjoys writing for different age groups, but tries to bring the same qualities to all her writing: a strong plot, lively and rhythmic language, and a big dose of fun. Dave Gunson has been a freelance artist/designer/author for nearly 40 years. Dave has written and/or illustrated around 200 books, including a number of titles for Scholastic, such as the very popular Wildlife Stuff. More recently he has worked on Diary of a Pukeko and Diary of a Bat, Lucy Davey's Pandora's Potato Romp, Santa and the Reindeer by Maria Farrer, and the charming Will and Woof by Tanya Warren. In addition, Dave has illustrated two of the popular Kiwi Corkers series.
