Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

Design. Think. Make. Break. Repeat. has been revised to include 20 additional methods, three new case studies, and a new chapter introducing life-centred design. This book acquaints the reader with the evolving role of design as both a way of thinking and a framework for tackling complex problems and achieving systemic change.

This book details 80 methods that span all stages of the design process, offering practical guidance for utilising these methods across various projects. These methods are complemented by seven case studies demonstrating their application in diverse fields, from designing interfaces for autonomous vehicles to addressing health and wellbeing. Free templates and resources available at designthinkmakebreakrepeat.com make this an invaluable resource for design educators and practitioners leading workshops in their organisation or seeking inspiration to transform their practice.

In this revised edition, the authors expand beyond the human-centred design paradigm to introduce life-centred design. This broader focus is supported by design methods that consider the larger ecosystem in which products and services are utilised, taking into account natural resource use, ethical concerns, and the long-term implications of design choices.
