Dear Professor Whale
A charming chapter-book follow-up to the international bestseller "Yours Sincerely, Giraffe"
" Yours Sincerely, Giraffe is one of my favourite Gecko Press books in 13 years of publishing, and this follow-up has all the warmth and quirky joy of the original." Julia Marshall, Publisher
Dear Professor Whale follows the story of Professor Whale, the last remaining whale at Whale Point. He often reminisces about the past, recalling the days when his friends surrounded him, and they all competed in the Whale Point Olympics.
One day, Professor Whale receives a letter from Wally, a young whale who has heard about the great, big, enormous whale who won gold for his remarkable spouting abilities. This sparks an idea in Professor Whale's mindβwhat if there could be a new Olympics, bringing the sea alive with whales once more?
In this charming follow-up to the international bestseller, a new exchange of letters spans across the oceans. These letters bring penguins, whales, and seals together for the Whale Point Olympics, with friendship and humour emerging as the true victors of the day.
