About the Author
Catherine Meatheringham is an Australian children’s author who writes picture books that invite children to join in with the story. Her picture books feature playful language, onomatopoeia and imagery. Her books have been shortlisted for the Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year Awards and Highly Commended in the ACT Notable Awards. Catherine regularly presents at schools and lives in Canberra with her husband, children and golden retriever.
Clara Anganuzzi grew up in the Seychelles, where she was always drawing on every surface she could find. She studied illustration at Falmouth University before completing an MA in Children’s Illustration at Anglia Ruskin. Her work combines traditional techniques, including monoprint and pencil, with a love of animals, character, and gentle humour. She creates warm, narrative artwork with a strong sense of place and is known for her beautifully limited colour palettes.
