THE WINDS OF PROPHECY ARE WHISPERING. A NEW BEAST IS RISING . . .
Beastlands: Legend of the Crystal Caves by Jess French is a thrilling tale where Alethea, Kayla, and Rustus stand as the sole guardians against the malevolent Professor Penn, who is assembling an army of beasts. In a desperate bid to protect their homeland, the trio embarks on separate ventures to thwart the professor's sinister plans.
Kayla delves into the unforgiving Southlands to unravel Penn's intentions. Meanwhile, Rustus searches for ancient prophecies hidden within the mysterious Crystal Caves. Alethea's mission leads her to a new realm, where she must rally the inhabitants to confront the impending menace.
However, their island home is undergoing perilous changes: flora and fauna are perishing, volcanoes rage, and waterways dry up. Could these phenomena be interconnected? Alethea, Kayla, and Rustus must rely on the allies they encounterโboth human and beastโand heed the whispers of the wind foretelling an ancient legend poised to rise...
