These uplifting greeting cards were inspired by the book Be Love. The book offers simple guidance to help us find moments of peace and connection in dark times.
It helped journalist, director and author, Emma Farry, through hard times. The words emerged through the COVID-19 pandemic and as she grieved the loss of her brother-in-law and aunt.
Later, when Emma’s home at Muriwai Beach was savaged by Cyclone Gabrielle (and her community lost two heroes and many homes to unprecedented slips), Be Love gave her strength and nourishment.

About the Author
Emma took the photos featured on the cards while walking on her beautiful beach to soothe her own pain and make sense of a tumultuous and often dark time. And now she is offering her words and images to the world in the hope that it will do for others what it did for her. “This book is designed to expand self-awareness and connect you with the courage required to navigate uncomfortable places, and to process difficult emotions. I believe that when we take time to understand ourselves and our emotions more deeply, we increase our compassion for ourselves and for our world. And I feel that compassion is what we need most urgently at this time.”
