In Frankenstein, Germany, Ambrose, a young vampire, lives a reclusive life alongside his clan. They are all enthralled by the charismatic Regina, who tells tales of salvation for their kind. Their ambitious plan involves crafting makeshift wings to fly to the moon, believed to be a sanctuary for vampires.
However, Ambrose hides a secret: he is reluctant to leave the earth and maintains contact with a human who believes that Ambrose can be redeemed. As his clan readies themselves to leave their home, Ambrose finds himself caught between his loyalties.
Complicating matters further, the Royal Diurnal Society—a group with malevolent intentions for vampires—is closing in. If Ambrose is not cautious, he could become entangled in a frightening and mysterious experiment.

About the Author
Andrea Morstabilini was born in Lodi, in the misty middle of the Po Valley, in Northern Italy. He studied Modern Literature at the University of Milan with a thesis on the Fantastic in late 19th century Italian literature. He (predictably) loves Gothic novels and architecture, the theatre, cats, and cemeteries. He also works as an editor. He lives in Milan, and sometimes Kraków, with his husband.
