A Ballad for Slayers & Monsters introduces us to Kas of Veldenier, a Slayer and travelling monster hunter for hire.

Claudia of Trulio is half-human, half-vampyric, and considered half monster.

They should be nothing more than enemies. But when the long-lost remnant of the dragon Ombral resurfaces, with the potential to unleash dragons to wreak havoc on Vil Tresar as they did long ago, Kas and Claudia's paths converge. United by a shared desire to prevent the return of the dragons, they embark on a quest to destroy the remnant.
