The 2026 Women's Prize

The Women’s Prize celebrates exceptional books written by women around the world, shining a spotlight on powerful storytelling and outstanding literary talent. Alongside the long-running Women’s Prize for Fiction (founded in 1996), the Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction was launched in 2024 to recognise excellence in narrative non-fiction. Together, the prizes champion women’s voices across both fiction and real-world storytelling.
