The Duck Who Didn't Like Water
The Duck Who Didn't Like Water
A gorgeous board book edition of this wise, funny fable about how we don’t need to like the same things to find our perfect pal, from the illustrator of much-loved I'm Sticking With You.
‘A wonderful, tender evocation of friendship and how its power can help you overcome your worst fears. A pure splash of joy.’ The Daily Mail
The Duck Who Didn't Like Water by Steve Small tells the story of Duck, who is not like other ducks. Duck doesn’t like water and is perfectly fine alone, thank you very much. But then, one dark and stormy night, an outgoing, water-loving, and very lost Frog turns up at Duck’s door. Can this odd couple find Frog’s home? And will they find friendship along the way?
This endearing, gorgeously illustrated tale marked the author-illustrator debut for Steve Small, illustrator of the highly acclaimed I’m Sticking with You and is now available in this board book edition.
‘A beautiful book, with a zen-like balance, and full of light and drama, too.’ Benji Davies, creator of The Storm Whale
