WELCOME TO THE DARK SIDE OF HAPPILY EVER AFTER

Charlie Reade appears to be a typical high school student: talented in baseball and football, and achieving respectable grades. Life, however, is far from ordinary for Charlie. At seventeen, his path crosses with a dog named Radar and her aging master, Howard Bowditch. Howard is a reclusive individual living in a large, enigmatic house perched atop a big hill. Behind this house lies a locked shed that hides an unimaginable secret.

Upon Howard Bowditch's death, Charlie inherits an unusual legacy in the form of a cassette tape. This tape contains a tale so fantastical, it seems impossible to believe – the shed in Howard's backyard is actually a portal to another world.

In Fairy Tale, legendary storyteller Stephen King delves into the deepest well of his imagination. This spellbinding novel chronicles the journey of a seventeen-year-old who inherits the keys to a parallel world where an epic battle between good and evil rages. The stakes are monumental, posing life-altering consequences not only for the alternate universe but for our world as well.

As Charlie ventures through this portal, he discovers a realm filled with wonder and danger, where his courage and resolve will be tested. He must navigate a mystical landscape, encountering both enchanting and perilous creatures, and face challenges that will determine the fate of both worlds.

Stephen King masterfully weaves a tale that is both thrilling and profoundly emotional, reminding us that every fairy tale has a dark side and that heroism can arise from the most unlikely of places. Fairy Tale is a journey you won't want to miss—a novel that explores the power of storytelling, the depths of human resilience, and the eternal struggle between light and darkness.
