In a beautiful seaside town full of beautiful places, Lucas loved two best of all.

First, was his aunt Violette’s cake shop, with its warm, delicious aromas and beauty all around. Second, was the marketplace, with its hustle and bustle, and the stories told by the kind, quiet fishmonger, Cyprien.

But when Lucas senses loneliness in his two favourite people, he whips up a plan to help, a plan that will end in a way even he could never imagine …

The Fishmonger and the Pastry Chef by bestselling creators Sophie Masson and Cheryl Orsini comes as a picture book about food and friendship, missed connections, and the magic of storytelling.
