About the Author

Jessie Hale is an editor and project manager based in Iqaluit, Nunavut. She has been an avid reader all her life and now works full time helping to make books for young people in Nunavut. Her favourite Arctic animal is the narwhal. Jesus Lopez was born in Madrid in 1975. From a very young age, he loved drawing by copying superheroes from comics and inventing new characters. Jesus studied cinema at a film academy in Madrid and made several short films. Since 2000 he has worked as a freelance illustrator for several European publishers. He currently lives in a small town outside of Madrid with his wife and daughter. When he's not drawing, he loves going to the cinema, walking in nature, and playing with his daughter.
