Artistic Cartography and Design Explorations Towards the Pluriverse

Book Hero Magic crafted this summary to help describe this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Summary
Artistic Cartography and Design Explorations Towards the Pluriverse is an edited volume that adopts an interdisciplinary approach to art and design, aiming to rethink and reposition strategies to tackle fragmented global systems. Contributors investigate the pluriverse of art and design through various epistemological and methodological lenses. The work explores sustainable ways to transfer knowledge, support diverse agendas, foster unsettling conversations, encourage unlearning and learning, and challenge power structures affecting marginalised groups through artistic and design practices. Central themes include methods, epistemologies, and practices that offer critical, interdisciplinary, pluriversal, and decolonial perspectives. The book challenges the dominance of white, Anglo-European art and design paradigms by shifting towards a pluriversal approach.
