Written and drawn by Charles M. Schulz, widely regarded as one of the most influential cartoonists of all time. It's estimated that over 355 million people, worldwide, read the strip. At its peak, Peanuts was syndicated in over 2,600 newspapers in 75 countries and was translated into 21 languages. Won: Reuben Award for Best Comic Strip in 1955 and 1964. The Milton Caniff Lifetime Achievement Award in 1999. The National Cartoonists Society's Humour Comic Strip Award in 1962. Peanuts franchise spawned a highly successful TV show, a series of movies and a musical stage play in 2013. Peanuts was voted 4th Greatest TV Cartoon of All Time.
