One Life, One Planet: One Amur Tiger in Five Hundred is a beautiful picture book that explores how the life of one Amur (Siberian) tiger, of the around 500 alive today, is intertwined with countless other animals and highlights why biodiversity matters.
Produced in association with the Natural History Museum, the book is designed to help young children explore conservation themes without causing alarm.
Illustrator Vivian Mineker employs watercolour, coloured pencil, and digital processes to craft a modern aesthetic with traditional textural elements.
The book is part of the One Life, One Planet series for children aged 5 and up. Other titles in the series include One Blue Whale in Ten Thousand, One Bee in Billions, and One Koala in Fifty Thousand.
